When ignition live the screen boots up, the rear view camera feeds the screen when driving
when van put into reverse the feed is switched to the 180 degrees reversing camera.
 
Reversing camera - Video feed under van through battery box to the dash
Switch to tell the display unit when in reverse is taken from the supply to the LHS reversing light on the van

Video feed under van and up through battery box and to the dash

Screen can be switched off if required there is an on/off button
