As we were going on a long trip - 3 months we knew we would run out of gas and carrying a spare cylinder is just not an option in a small van
After some research we went for the Safe Fill bottle 7.5kg
We have refilled this bottle from LPG points on our travels
It is handy to have the documents to hand showing that the bottle is designed to be refilled as some garages are a bit nervous.

The cylinder is opaque so in theory the gas level can be seen, however in practice this can be hard
I fitted a LED module from a torch to the back side to make it easy to see gas level in the bottle - torch body on top, switch on and the gas is visible
