We decided to give the mirrored glass a go in the van, not really sure if it would work for us or not.

I ordered some mirror film from eBay to cover all the windows in the back of the van, it is not expensive so over order, you will probably need the extra !

Fitting the film- watch a lot of you tube videos and expect to peel off and bin the first few as it really is not easy to get a looking good finish
After much messing and a few re tries we finally got a great finish - and we love it

It is absolutely possible to get a great bubble free great finish at home - just give yourself a lot of time and practice on an easy to get to small window.
We did ours over the course of a few days.

The advantages are that in day light it is impossible to see in - seems strange having a pee in the van whilst people are walking past
Saves having to draw the curtains !

In bright sunlight the van is much cooler as much is reflected - we are so please we did this before our long trip, so worth while.

The only slight disadvantage is that on a dull day the van is slightly darker inside than it would be without the film.
