Update
The double swivel was a mixed blessing, it was great at night but a pain to turn round
we could also not get from the fron of the van to the back without leaving the van
We have recently updated to a single passenger seat with a swivel, this is for us the answer
it is much quicker to turn than the double and we can go from the front of the van to the back without leaving the van
this is great when it is raining !
I picked up a trafic single seat with base, I wanted an original seat as fitted to the Trafic of the same year so the
seat belt pre tension system would still work. I understand others have fitted seats from different cars or vans
who knows if the seat belt pre tension system will work in a crash!
we were able to sell our double seat with swivel so the cost of update was much reduced

Before collecting the van we requested that the passenger seat be made to swivel (rotate 180 degrees)
This has proved to be a massive advantage as it gives a lot of additional room when rotated
The wirieing to the seat belt tensioner was really too short, this mad rotating the seat a total pain
I have since lengthened these wires which make the rotation very easy
