Currently running a Synology NAS - this also runs our ip cameras and
logitec media server the media server is linked to our Deezer
account.
We have 5 Pi's around the house running Pi Core Player - site link, we can stream
music to any room using the Ipeng app on our phones to control
the system works great - way cheaper than a Sonos, and more fun !
We have a second NAS using open media vault site link , works well
and is handy for some additional storage.
An early NAS effort not sure what software was running but it was
quite flaky - unlike open media vault which seems very reliable.
