The reviews are based on our personal experiences, we have no commercial interest in any of the places mentioned.
We will start to post locations using what3words from now on - details here
There are no nude pictures on this site that are not already in the public domain - I may post some WNBR pics

What is the legal situation ?

We are members at Spielplatz club Web info Spielplatz is a fantastic club with lots of events and parties, more info below
We are members of the Naturist Corner forum - great place for naturist information - Web info  user name spike589715
We are also members of British Naturism Web info good to support the organisation that is supporting our interests.

We have recently joined Suntreckers Web info  probably we will do some weekends in 2016 -  just did not happen - we have not renewed

British Naturism Gala

Shaftsbury Lido Naked Swim Web info
A city centre small open air Lido, they have a naked swim on a weekly basis during the seasons.
Great that a council support this and have an open to all naked swim, no having to book the pool for a private event just book on line and arrive
We found the pool very friendly and the staff great.

University of London - Sunday Naturist swim - Web info
We have only attended once - seem a nice crowd would go back but a bit of a drive for us - we went in support of an event there.

Bedford Naturist Swim -Web info  A fun swim at a leisure pool we have been a couple of times and will go again if we are not doing anything else, as just down the road for us. update - this swim has now closed - long story short the management did not want naturists to use the pool, unfortunately the people running the event did not rally support and sadly it is no more. - I understand there may be an update on this situation in the future.

Clover Spa Hotel - Birmingham  Web Pages
Lovely clean hotel great facilities and staff - we have been a few times and will be back.
The food is basic, but priced as such and ok, the rooms are very clean and the spa facilities excellent and clean.
We both had a massage on our last visit which was excellent.
Our last couple of visits we have traveled on our motorcycle as there is no need to pack much more than a tooth brush.

Lakeside farm - Spilsby  - Web Pages
We have camped here a few times now - friendly staff - Tony & Alison , hot tub and great views across the lake.
There is a function room with music, this is often used for parties etc.
Lakeside now have a pool - we have not been back for a few years but understand the site is improving all the time so may well re visit.

Spielplatz (our club)  Web Pages
Very close to us so good for day visits - also camping, recently refurbished  pool, Sauna very clean and great club house, the setting is just perfect being surrounded by woods.
We first visited as day visitors and loved it, visited other local clubs but this one was perfect for us.
We have now joined the club as we love to pop down in the evening to relax in the hot tub /Sauna and a swift half in the bar.
At Spielplatz you can be naked anywhere at anytime no silly restrictions - the clubhouse is fully cloths optional at all time - unlike some other clubs in the area....
We have lots of themed nights as well as disco's / parties the club has a very active social scene - all events are cloth optional.

Sunfolk - Recently taken over by BN hopefully this will prove a positive move ongoing for the future of BN. We checked the camping prices as we were keen to visit, only to see they are charging 45 per night! (you have to arrive after 12:00 and leave before 11:00 so not even for 24 hours, there was a two night minimum that has now been dropped) this is for a couple with camper, ( if you want hookup it is another 5 a night) this is over double what other clubs with very similar facilities (some have better) are charging. We do not even need to be a member of the clubs we are visiting to get a rate less than half that of a club that we are a member of and support! Maybe they will attract some, however most couples I have spoken to will not support this as they can easily visit other clubs. I think the effect of this level of cost may attract more single guys who I understand have more difficulty in getting a invite to visit clubs.
I think this level of charging will put people off attending events at the club as these will be charged in addition making for an expensive stay.

Apollo Sun Club
- Web pages   What3words location fortified.spice.passion
10 Miles north of Brighton - we decided to visit for a bank holiday weekend (22/5/15) 3 nights in our tent.
Very friendly club, everyone made and effort to make us welcome. Site is kept in great condition by the members, good clean well serviced facilities including pool and sauna, most Saturday nights there is a BBQ - just bring food to cook and sit round the camp fire.  A few of our Pics
As this is close to Brighton so handy for the WNBR

Croft Country Club Web Pages
Our first visit was the 26th - 28th June 2015 for the picnic in the park
Fantastic weekend - we arrived on the Friday evening and pitched our tent, met up with our friend as we arrived.
cooked some tea and headed to the club house for the evening - great band and disco - club house kept nice and warm as well.
Saturday live music on the lawns from 13:00 3 bands played until 18:00 we were so lucky the weather was perfect met up with some more friends and danced the afternoon away in the hot sun.
In the evening there was another band playing in the club house -
Sunday we enjoyed the hot sun - packed up the tent and left around 15:00 to have a Sunday roast with our friends before heading home.
We are defiantly going back next year !
Also visited for the picnic in 2016 - another fantastic weekend ! - We went again in 2018 for another great event.

Blackthorns Family week  Web Pages
Our first visit to blackthorns this weekend 24/7/15 - 26th
We had been invited by some friends to the family week they run every year but could only make this weekend - other commitments
We arrived on Friday evening, drizzling rain no worries we put the tent up and settled for a tent cooked meal
Saturday the sun came out so spent a relaxing day catching up, lazing in the sun enjoying a few drinks and swimming in the pool.
Saturday night a disco in the club house which was fun (but clothed - see below) and home Sunday morning (as raining again !)
Blackthorns is a very friendly club, all facilities are well maintained, the pool was lovely and clean and warm!
The club is set in 15 acres there are static caravans and a camping area, there is also a lot of wooded area which we enjoyed wandering round.
We have been back to the club since our first visit and enjoy the club and facilities, and friendly members.

Be aware they have a dress code for the club house basically it seems you must for evening events at least ........ this would put us off from returning for evening events
We know some member who are challenging this but at this time I understand the rules still apply so best to check it suits your needs.

Blackthorns now have a number of clothes optional events thorogh the year 3 I think which is a start we have supported the firs event which was food and a disco
which was great and will attend the next, our feeling is the tide may be slowly turning to eventually make all events clothes optional - lets hope

Cambridge outdoor club Web Pages
We spent a fantastic week at the club with a group of friends (37 I think) the club has a lovely pool, club house, grounds. We found the club to be very friendly.
18 of us did the Cambridge naked bike ride, swam in the local river and did a 5 mile naked walk with a swim at the end.

Dilly Dallies  Web Pages
There is a new Dilly Dallies ! just open, we spent some time there with friends in May 21 and it is amazing.
A beautiful site with massive gardens, They have a huge sun deck area, outside coffee / chill area a club house, hot tub and pool (soon)
Great showers and toilets.
They are now a site where you can bring your tent or camper and no longer do full catering for guests
They also have a club with members, more information on the web site

Notes on the old Dilly Dallies - now closed Chris and Dave have moved onto new things - see above
Lovely site near Winborne Run buy Chris and Dave  - accommodation for nine couples
There is a pool, two hot tubs, Sauna, Steam room, pool / function room sun terrace loungers, covered relaxing area etc.  - Chalet accommodation - all bookings include breakfast and evening meal, this works so well the food is all home cooked and amazing.
you have to book in advance - we will be back !
Some of our pics

Dilly Dallies has closed at this site - we do however understand that Chris & Dave are starting another venture very near to the old Dilly Dallies site.
Update - Chris and Dave have a new venture - we are planning to visit as soon as the lock down allows.

Tything Barn Aug 2017 Web Pages
What3words punctual.secrets.imprints
Bit of a drive for us but we had heard such great things about Tything we really wanted to check it out ! we really were not disappointed.
Lovely site, swimming in the lagoon we took our canoe and paddled into the estuary.
They have a friendly badger who comes out every night for his peanuts ! - will visit again for sure

Rosslyn Glamping  - Web pages  We first visited in 2019, Rosslyn is a lovely site run by Claire and Andrew the site has camping, areas for camper vans & caravans along with  shepherds huts.
The site has excellent facilities including a lovely warm indoor pool - Rosslyn is not always naturist, they have naturist weekends and weeks through the year so check first.
They are looking to expand the naturist side over time.
2023 - we visited again (group of 10) pool was lovely and warm and a great base for walks, bike rides etc

Cam Bridge Barn
Web pages  What3words We were looking for a quiet sit to visit near Bristol in Aug 2020 where we could meet with friends for a catch up and BBQ we found Cam Bridge.
The site is run by Richard and Bev and is lovely, the site offers a relaxing atmosphere with basic facilities - Water, toilet, shower, chemical toilet emptying etc
The site is a lovely flat grass field.

Carbeil naturist holiday park Web pages  What3words cabbies.driving.easy  We visited for a few days after the brilliant Nudecamp event.
The site is run by Kerry, a small friendly site with good facilities, great showers and washing etc we visited at the end of the season and due to Covid the hot tub, Sauna and club house were closed
The pool was open but as not heated was freezing (the sea was actually warmer) there is a naturist beach near by, 20 min walk from the campsite
There is an official campsite sign for the site (never heard off at naturists sites) this is because the site was originally a textile campsite so the sign was put up by the council

Valley Sun (near Harrogate) Web pages
What3words regulate.park.backtrack (takes you to a field gate - you will need the code from the club)
Visited in April 22 for 4 nights. Friendly club with basic facilities, great toilets and showers  no electric hook up, a very peaceful quite site, we used as a base for cycle rides in the local area.

White Rose Sun Club (Near York) Web pages
visited in April 22, Friendly club, lovely warm pool, excellent showers and a sauna. The club house has a bar which was open with reasonably priced drinks, we spent a couple of evenings chatting to members and other visitors.

Naturist foundation - Party in the Stark July 2017 Web Pages What3words   prompting.smiled.speeds
Some friends visited last year - first year of party in the stark ! we met a group of our friends for the PitS long weekend
The PitS is a fantastic weekend, lots of bands, silent disco, real ale etc very busy weekend.
The foundation is a lovely site, great pool and facilities well worth a visit on a normal weekend - we will definitely be back for the PitS 2018 - now booked .
PitS 2019 was a great event - we have booked again for 2020 but this may be cancelled in light of the CV.
Pits 2021 went ahead and as ever was amazing! we will be booking for 22.
The Naturist foundation seem to go from strength to strength they have a tribute bands event this year (23) we will go if we can get booked !

Bare Camp This event is run by the BareWest events team Web pages
Barewest consists of the group who used to run Nudefest before BN's event team took charge of the event.
Bare camp is held at thorny lakes, this is the same venue as Nudefest and is a great venue for naturist events
Bare camp Started in 2020 and is ran by volunteers on a not for profit bases the cost are kept down and people are encouraged to get involved,

we absolutely love this event, it is very well run and relaxed, and is getting more popular each year, this year (23) all pitches and day visits were sold out.
For us it is a perfect time to catch up with our friends
We attended nudefest in 2019, this is a massive event with so much going on all the time - program here the event is held at Thorney Lakes
campsite, Nudefest take over the entire site, so the campsite is fully naturist for the entire week.
The site is a very camping site with all the camping facilities you would expect.
For us it was such a great event as a lot of our friends were also attending so was a perfect chance to catch up we had such a great time that we booked for 2020
2020 update - due to CV - nudefest has been pushed back to September, hopefully the event can still go ahead.
Nudefest update
We attended the (now) BN events team run event in 21, sadly a shadow of it's former self, BN are now fully running the event.
Compared with previous years the event lacked a lot of things to do in the day (unless you like yoga or a keep fit class), poor communications to attendees, no bands introduced, taken over by football !(we missed a head line act as the football ran over, despite there being an empty marquee the football could have been shown in !!) we are seriously considering our attendance next year, (and BN membership) such a shame as this used to be our event of the year.
We elected no to go again to Nudefest in 22 & 23 and have not rejoined BN at this time, as time moves forward and things change we may well reconsider.

The Gathering - Dunoon 2018 & 2019
This is a week long event in Dunoon, the Glenmorag Hotel is taken over for this event, every room is booked out to naturists so if you want to join us book very early! The hotel if fully naturist for the duration of the gathering, there is no need to dress at anytime in the hotel. There is a very full program for the week including hotel based activities along with naked walks in the forest and a naked swimming session at the local pool.
The gathering is a great event, we have attended twice and will probably go again in the future, it is a long drive for us but very worth while.
The Gathering has now moved hotels, twice I think due to Covid so best check latest, hopefully it is still being run by the local region and not BN directly.

Studland beech -Close to Dilly Dallies - lovely beach nice sand easy close parking go to knowls car park not the first national trust car park - follow the drive past the kiosk pay and turn left park, walk onto the beach, then turn left and walk until you see the naturist signs. What3words location waxer.reshape.initiates

Fairlight Beach - another favorite location bit of a walk down but well worth the effort - don't leave anything in the car !! link to location link not checked by us.

Holkham Beach - Massive beach with a naturist area, good for swimming as there is a very gentle slope to the sea which is just sand
What3words   location of beach mole, regulator, career The car park (pay and display - machines take cards) location is on Lady Ann's Drive tortoises.remix.poetic
To get to the naturist area walk through the car park towards the beach there is a track to the left take this and walk through the woods you will come across a broad walk with a sign to view point and beach 100 yards take this - at the end turn left and walk along the beach - there is a sign showing the naturist area - it is small

Brighton beach -
What3words location (to follow) -  We visited 2013 quite crowded - mostly men and a LOT of spectators, guys walking up and down the beach fully clothed on a very hot day - GET A LIFE ! this is not the place to go if you are at all nervous ..... few M/F couples, we probably won't re visit as we did feel a bit like some sort of show, but did enjoy the sea it was really quite warm ! - Drive round the coast and check out Fairlight, much nicer! but a bit of a climb down.

WNBR London 2016 - I went alone as Denise was attending a work related function, I went at the last minute and met up with some friends from our swimming club, the ride was amazing riding naked through central London with hundreds of other people.
Lots of cheers and support all the way round. some pictures here

WNBR Brighton 2017 - We decided to try Brighton ride out this year, we stayed at Apollo the night before the ride and headed down in the morning a great fun ride with 8 friends - the ride started at the Level and finished at the naturist beach, lots of riders and around a four hour ride round Brighton.
There is a great party feel to the event, some great body paint and mobile music.
Sadly a few idiots on the beach pointing cameras. some pics when i have time !
WNBR Brighton 2018 - Enjoyed so much last year we decided to go again, it was even better! the weather was very warm so a very enjoyable ride.
Sadly we missed 2019 as other commitments

WNBR Cambridge 2023 - We attended with 18 friends, we were staying at Cambridge outdoor club which is reasonably local.
The ride is one of the smaller rides I guess 80- 100 riders, had our group not attended it would have been 100% male riders, our group was a 50/50 split.
All rides have a male bias not sure what can be done to encourage more female riders.
the ride is only partly through the city then lot of surrounding roads with nothing going on, there was not much atmosphere at all (unlike Brighton & London) We would not attend the Cambridge ride again, and I think everyone on our group felt the same - Brighton next year if we can !

Longer breaks

Haulover Beach - Miami - Web info
What3words location landlords.acute.woks
We visited Haulover in September 2014 - this is a lovely beach and well worth a visit, we were staying in the south beach area and this beach is around a 10 mile drive. There is parking close by - Lot 1 - ask where you pay and you will be directed to the far end of the car park - park up and there is a tunnel under the road you walk through and turn left and you are on the beach.
The beach is a lovely sand beach, a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Miami - there is not much there so take food / drinks etc there was a van there when we visited but i would not rely on this and they left quite early.

Hotel Gran Natura -Corralejo fuerteventura Web info March 2015
We booked this holiday for some early sun ! - The hotel is located in
Corralejo about a 30 minute drive from the airport, we arrived in the morning and was greated by Marcel in reception who gave us a warm welcome and everything we needed to know about the hotel very friendly and professional.
the Hotel is great, apartment style
, very clean well appointed rooms would defiantly recommend a visit.  Some of our pictures

EuroNat September 2015 - Web info    Some of our pictures
We booked this for some late sun, due to problems around Calais we went for Portsmouth to Le Harve.
The plan was to drive down on Friday evening and catch the over night boat - we had a cabin so all good, we arrived in Le Harve at 08:30 ready for our drive south.
We toot the road from Royan to Verdon and then a short drive to the site.
We loved the site, lots of people hire bikes we decided not to as we really enjoyed the walks to the beach and back in the sun ! Our plan is to re visit next year !
Visited in 2016 - took the motorcycle, well you don't need to take many clothes !
booked to visit our friends lovely place in 2017

Our visit to Koversada was all a bit last minute the original plan was to visit Florida, explore the area and spend sometime with our friend Nicola who was booking some visits to naturists resorts in the area.

All was looking well until hurricane Irma decided to head towards Florida and was due to hit Miami on the same Saturday we were due to land - BA text me on the Thursday morning to say the flight had been cancelled . Our holiday had vanished
